Maintenance Manager
Qualifications
10 to 20 years' experience (Maintenance/Production/Facility/Project Management)
Maintenance Degrees/Certificates - Associates Degrees: Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Project Management Fields - Certificates: Journeyman - Pipe Fitting, Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical (4 yr. apprentice program.)
Organizational Development - Proven Management Experience (including Performance Based Management: annual reviews, hiring, disciplinary, team building, etc.)
Proven departmental budget management/accountability - $300 to $1M
Must be able to develop and establish a new maintenance team in a union environment
Union management is experience is a plus but not required.
Results driven and urgency focused
Strong Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing Process Aptitude
PLC Controls/Electrical is a plus
Must have experience with using a Maintenance Management System and have a proven track record of utilizing metrics to track and drive continuous improvement.
Maintenance Downtime %
Work Order Tracking
PM Programs
Microsoft Office Programs (Excel/Word/Email, etc.)
CAD or design programs would be a plus, but not required
Capital/Maintenance Project Management
Project management experience with completing projects within a timeline
Familiar and understand ROI for project justifications
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
