This position reports directly to the Corporate Controller. The primary function is to assist with GAAP accounting, financial reporting, key management reporting and analysis, and workpaper review within the Corporate Finance area. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the willingness and ability to collaborate successfully with various teams. This position will be responsible for initiating and overseeing various process improvement projects, and improve the efficiency of our monthly close and reporting activities.
Assist in coordinating and managing the monthly close process and the annual audit.
Streamline existing accounting processes and procedures.
Prepare and review designated journal entries.
Prepare and review designated workpapers.
Prepare monthly financial reporting package.
Analyze and evaluate monthly actual to budget variances.
Initiate and oversee implementation projects, as needed.
Create value added service to other departments by understanding their needs.
Interact with all other financial organizational personnel and outside auditors.
Interact with budget holders and various levels of management.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting.
CPA certification required.
5-10 years of related work experience, including 3 years of public accounting.
Strong PC skills in a Windows based environment, particularly Office. SAP experience required.
Strong interpersonal, analytical and critical reasoning skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
