About the Job
The Sr. Systems Administrator will establish and maintain secure and standardized computing, network and communications systems that enable Nekoosa Holdings users to effectively create profit, maintain customer relationships and ensure the ability of future growth, both organically and through acquisition.

It is essential for the individual to demonstrate good analytical and communication skills, pay close attention to detail, and develop project plans and successfully execute project plans to completion. The successful candidate can wear many IT hats and should be able to work independently.
This individual is accountable for the following systems:
Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy Administration
Microsoft Exchange administration
Communications and Networking equipment including routers, managed switches, VPNs, firewalls, WAPs, Telco system
Symantec Backup and Virus Protection software
Citrix Presentation Server, Xenserver, Xen Desktop

Responsibilities will include:
1. Multi-site firewall configuration to support automatic VPN tunnel failover.
2. Develop and execute the strategy to flatten the current 2 domain environment into a single domain.
3. Using industry best practices, implement an AD OU strategy and a set of GPOs that maintain security and standardize systems access for all users.
4. Standardize the Citrix environment
5. Provide/maintain documentation on all systems and configurations.
6. User setup and provisioning, desktop support
7. Mentor Jr Systems Administrator

Education /
Experience:
5
years system administration or architect experience
Virtualization (VMWare), SAN experience, a big plus.

Responsibilities:
Occasional travel required
Occasional night/weekend workEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
