Position
Summary:
Inspects products manufactured for defects and conformance to specifications by performing specific job duties.
Key
Responsibilities:
1.
Ensures that equipment cleaning, sanitizations and job start-ups are performed correctly and are properly recorded on forms 2.
Verify components brought into production area are correct as compared to the bill of materials and that bulk, laminate, tubes, bottles, etc.
are accepted for use (approved and within expiration schedule) 3.
Audits documentation that verifies materials, fills, codes, pressures and markings (Run Instruction details) in order to be sure they meet specifications at different stages of the production run 4.
Verifies that case packing meets specifications or if directed by the QC Manager, revises specifications accordingly 5.
Helps to inform/remind machine operators/packers what is needed when running and packing jobs 6.
Recommends improvements to mechanics and production when necessary 7.
Audits work of process lead 8.
Records results of inspection, sampling and testing in a clear, complete and correct manner in approved format on appropriate paperwork 9.
Helps to monitor production workers during rework operations 10.
Collects required quality samples; collects, organizes and logs-in quality retains 11.
Prints packer and case labels per specifications 12.
Helps to monitor all aspects of manufacturing for GMP compliance.
Qualifications:
Education/
Experience:
Associate's degree (A.
A.
) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
