We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Order Entry Specialist/Customer Service to join our team in South Plainfield, NJ.
The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to work as a team, collaborate with colleagues, and cross functionally as needed.
Proven diligent multi-tasker with the ability to perform simultaneously in different tasks while maintaining focus, prioritizing, and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail.
Have outstanding aptitude for problem solving.
Must be dependable and willing to learn.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
Previous experience in customer service, data entry or other related fields preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Receive, enter, and process incoming orders from multiple sources (e-mail, phone, and fax).
Manage a high volume of customer orders.
Answer customer inquiries and sales rep calls to assist promptly with questions related to orders, deliveries, and product availability.
Assist customer's and sales team's needs to help acknowledge and resolve issues with their orders.
Set up orders and assign the correct warehouse location based on inventory.
Responsible for notifying customers of changes in delivery schedule.
Maintain database of customer contact information to ensure it is up to date to ensure billing information accuracy.
Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

This is an hourly position with occasional OT available.
